Abuja Court Dismisses FG’s Suit On Kashamu’s Extradition

A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed an application by the Federal Government ‎ for a warrant of arrest against Buruji Kashamu, the Senator representing Ogun-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

In dismissing the application, Justice Gabriel Kolawole said that it would amount to sitting on appeal against the judgments of two of his colleagues, Justices Ibrahim Buba and Okon Abang, of the Lagos division of the court.‎

While dismissing the case, he held that the suit before him was an abuse of the processes of the court.
