SnapChat is a service used to send pictures to your friends and anyone on the Internet, with the catch that the images can only be viewed for a determined amount of time. Or so this one teacher who has found herself in hot water seemed to think before everything started to hit the fan. Using the service to solicit sexual acts from her students, it looks like this teacher is learning a valuable lesson about age of consent in her town.
It looks like her moral compass is broken too if she is making decisions like this. Kourtnie A. Sanchez, a 25-year old student-teacher at a school in Kansas, is the lady in the spotlight after sending obscene snaps to her student. With multiple charges being brought against this woman, it seems like she didn’t just leave her activity on the Internet. She was getting down in real life with the students too.
With the injustice brought to the attention of the school, the district immediately released her from her duties, and after a $50,000 bond, Kourtnie was subsequently released from jail too. It’s hard to imagine something like this happening to your own kids. How would you react if this happened in your own hometown? With everything that’s happened because of it, you can at least hope she went ahead and deleted her account. It’s probably safer that way anyways.
