Off Duty Police Officer Finds $12 Million Worth Of Cocaine In The Gulf Of Mexico While Fishing

If you're out on a boat and planning to go fishing, the main thing on every fisherman's mind is to catch something BIG!

If it's not something big you're looking for something either rare or a catch that is worth a good story to tell over the years.
One off duty police officer from Florida decided to go fishing one day out in the Gulf of Mexico. About 25 miles off of Englewood Beach something crazy happened.

While the deputy was fishing, they pulled in a catch no one would have ever thought to receive. The deputy reeled in around 50 pounds worth of the illegal street drug cocaine by accident. The catch is priced at around $10 million to $12 million dollars. The deputy involved in finding this cocaine will be kept anonymous for safety reasons.CHOI!!!

The lucky catch

At this moment, no one is sure where this find has come from. It's not like this stuff just fell off a Caribbean cruise ship. It is most likely from drug smugglers, though. Cocaine smugglers will try to find many clever ways to beat the system and remain hidden from the law.

The luck of this deputy finding this stash is incredible. The ocean is such a huge place! Many of it undiscovered yet this person comes across this big catch and now with an incredible story to tell. If someone else found this cocaine that wasn't theirs to begin with, things could have gone south really quick. It would be unfortunate if an unknowing fisherman found it and took it home causing some form of personal injury. We bet this officer is never going to hear the end of this one. As those who fish say, they got lucky.
