In a now-private post on Facebook,
an Australian model named Bailey Scarlett claims she was drugged at an
Australian recording studio where she’d been invited to a listening
party with Justin Bieber and some of his friends.
The Victoria Police confirm to The Insider With Yahoo
that they were called to the recording studio in Melbourne on Sunday
night, but say that no police report has been filed at this time.
“A
woman told police that she believed her drink had been spiked. The woman
was conveyed to hospital for medical treatment and is advised to attend
the Richmond police station to make an official report concerning the
matter,” Media Officer Clair White said.
In
her Facebook post, Scarlett wrote that she’d poured herself a vodka
lemonade upon arriving at the studio, but that the second drink she’d
had was given to her. “By this time I started to feel overly drunk and
not right at all, my vision was ridiculously blurred I felt like I was
seeing 10 faces at once, my lips, hands and toes felt numb and I became
incoherent,” the 18 year old wrote, as transcribed by the Mirror.
Scarlett claims that Bieber
tried to calm her down and said that she’d not been drugged but was
having a “panic attack” and that she “had caught ‘Bieber Fever.’”
A
friend of Scarlett’s, who was tagged in her initial post, has deleted
one she made about the incident and replaced it with another. “Apologies
to everyone I had to delete my last post due to legal reasons,” Tekauri
Hurst wrote.
“The matter has blown up big time and is now being left to the Police
and legal experts.
Thank you for everyone’s help, support and well
wishes for Bailey.”
Bieber is in Australia to perform a concert on Southern Cross Austereo’s rooftop.
Story still developing...
