According to TMZ, American actor and comedian, Robin Williams’
sprawling estate up in Napa has been sold out and the buyers bought it
for just $18.1 million, nearly $17 million less than the original
listing price.
The
estate is a massive — 640 acres, 18 of which are vineyards. Same goes
for the home onsite, which Robin had built more than 10 years ago — it’s
nearly 20,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 10 baths and 3 safe rooms
for security.
The
property is a 9-stall barn, hiking and riding trails, infinity pool, a
bell tower, indoor home theater, pond and climate controlled cellars to
store wine or art.
Williams
called it Villa Sorriso which roughly translates in Italian to “house
of smiles.” He had tried unloading it numerous times, first in 2012 for
$35 million, and then again two years ago for $29.9 million, but the
price was eventually lowered to $22.9 million.
According yo TMZ, the buyers; reportedly 2 French winemakers paid cash for the property. See more pictures of the property here.
