It seems Gov. Wike is the governor that paid for 150 rooms so guests can watch him receive an award

Yesterday, shocking reports filtered the air  that a Nigerian State Governor  allegedly payed for 150 rooms at an expensive Lagos hotel, so guests can watch him collect an award from a Nigerian newspaper.

Well, it seems the Governor is Gov. Wike of Rivers State. He received
the Sun Newspaper’s Governor of the Year Award, at an event that was held at Eko hotels in Lagos.
